Threemilestone Dental

A full range of both private and NHS treatments are provided, including all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. The practice is also a registered member of Denplan.

Appointments

The practice works to a fully computerised appointment system and we make every effort to see patients at the appointed time. If you need to cancel an appointment please give 24 hours notice, whenever possible. This enables us to make alternative arrangements, and perhaps see someone in pain. it is practice policy to make a charge for any appointments broken without due notice.

Hygienists

We currently employ two Hygienists who are trained in all aspects of dental care, including scaling and polishing teeth, fissure sealing, application of topical fluoride and intensive oral hygiene instruction.

Orthodontics

Simple cases are dealt with within the practice, however more complex cases are referred either to the local hospital orthodontic department or a local specialist orthodontist.

Are you looking for an NHS dentist?

As you might be aware there is a shortage of NHS dentists in Cornwall. Many of you are probably frantically looking for a dentist to register with, and as yet have been unsuccessful. The NHS helpline are extremely busy taking such calls.

At the moment we are still taking details for our waiting list, but there are many names listed already, and as such we cannot offer everybody a place. We do not see emergencies in this practice unless you are registered with us. If you have an emergency then please ring the helpline number for details of the nearest surgery to you.
